New in the family

Hi alfa fans,

Two days ago I bought a Alfa 33 INDY
Who can tell me more about this type, I never found information about "INDY"

It' s a '92 with 1.4 engine (Boxer ???)

There is a soft dent on the right front door. I think that I can fix that with a little pressure on the inside of the door. How do I have to remove the inside doorpanel.

How can I fix a leak on the reservoir from the screenwasher. The water is dripping between the wheelcase How can I remove this wheelcase the best way ?

Sorry, a lot of questions but I'm new in the family

Best regards

Sold :(

My advice would be to buy a new windscreen washer water container from a wrecker and fit or remove the old one and fix it with silicon.

Also I think that it might be a good idea for you to download the 33 Workshop Manual. I put it online last night so please see my post:

Also Iam the guy that told you about this place on the 33 Discussion List the other day.

Hope your enjoying your new auto,

Dear Mac Patrick
Glad to hear you are enjoying 33 ownership, hope you continue to enjoy it. A leak from the windscreen washer bottle is quite common on the nuova 33.

If the leak only occurs when you have filled the washer bottle to the top it is probably from the join where the flexible hose connects the filler to the top of the washer bottle.

If you remove the inner wheelarch liner on the RH side you will see a black tube which joins to the bottle about the middle of the wheelarch. fill the bottle up, if it leaks at this join you can reseal the joint with some sillicone sealer.

This should fix it but if this is not the problem you will be at least able to see the bottle now and work out where it is leaking!

Best Wishes
