Joakim, like the car.
A question for you re the power steering. When I fitted the 16 into my sprint, the amount of space between the pulley and the engine bay front valance was too tight for me to put in the stopped me from trying to install the power steering from the donor car. The pully was a three way item, with gooves for alternator / water pump, the aircon, and the power steering pump.
After cutting it down, so that just the alternator belt groove remained, it fits ok. When you look down at the front of the engine there appears to be a lot of space. That lead me to belive that the power steerng could have been fitted without modification to the valance, but still the doubt remains. With the engine free to move around quite a bit, would the pulley hit the radiator and / or valance?
The other point is, did it make a difference to feel of the steering other than lightening the load on your arms. Most agree that the Sud Sprint steering feel is excellent, and it would be a shame to deaden it.
