Thanks for your your suggestions.......i will look at the starter motor tomorrow 2 c how much corrosion is around it, do u mean the corrosion where the starter motor bolts onto the car? would that cause this problem? What about the contacts (spade connectors) or whatever the wiring connects with, did u clean them up aswell??
Its really strange as i started it up last night coming home from work , she started fine, drove round the corner to the petrol station for fuel then it wouldnt start after i paid for my fuel, turned the key to the first position dash lights on then again to start and nothing happened.......done that a few times with the same result, opened bonnet had a look tried again after a couple of mins and she fired up like nothing was wrong!!!
