budget cooling?

who here wants to help a little with the cooling on there 33 and maybe sud?
i kind of have found the cheapest way to do it
in the box withing the electrical compartment that goes to the fans inside
there lies a mini radiator
if you remove the plastic casing you will see it quite visably
run the engine and see how warm it gets
turn it to cold and make sure the flap is closed off where you removed the box
and feel it after 30 seconds
much cooler?
if u want you can go the next step and make some sort of ventilation for it via the bonnet to cool of easier
just half an hour to an hour of your time might help with the cooling and not cost you a sent

Had a 33 1.7 QV

old thread but interesting yes.

Maybe in the summer I could remove the cover and use it as an extra radiator.

I'm looking into buying a new aluminium rad at the moment but this could be used also if you are stuck in a real heatwave and don't want to sweat in out inside the care.

Might just give it a go in the summer. Winter - replace cover and heat returns to the cabin.
