greek, you make a good point, one I didn’t make because I thought it was obvious, however maybe not. I would like to now make a point, which again may seem obvious. I have fitted both types in the past, as in the fixed one and the omp one, with the adjuster in the middle.
You have to fit the strut brace with both struts removed, so that the brace fits flush with the top of the turret/ inner wing top plates, as it will not clear the bolts otherwise. Jack the car up from the front middle jacking point, undo all 4 nuts for the strut and let the strut rest on the inside of the turret, then push it up and put on one nut, finger tight, repeat for the other side and then finger tight them all.
Then lower the car to the floor, at this point if you have power steering start the engine and turn lock to lock and centralise the wheel. Then tighten both sides up with a spanner.
Do this on flat level ground with the hand brake off and then go get your tracking checked/adjusted.
