thanks markp2
so that 30 degrees is to much of a flat spot and although is a varied output and not closed, open, wide open, its not good enough.

Hi BigAl.
The TPS is used to replace the Air Flow Meter on a 'production line engine'. The ECU uses the angle of the throttle butterfly in combination with the crankshaft rotation speed to accurately calculate how long to open each injector for. It makes an assumption on the amount of air being sucked in and therefore the fuel mixture. The variation in air volume being taken in between 10 degree throttle and 20 degrees is huge - let alone 0 -30 degrees.
The TPS also controls part of the ignition advance curve - like the vacuum advance unit on an old style distributor - so it needs to be accurate.

Does anybody have a pretty basic configuration/VE table for the 16v? I'll try to build it from scratch, but a basic configuration would be very helpful... Thanx

Hey! I'm thinking of getting the same configuration with megasquirt and I'm curios if meantime you made your configuration and if you can share it + some other details about installing the megasquirt on your 16v. I've heard that the cat version of the 16v has a good TPS and not only a swich.
