Finally changed that water temp sensor on the throtles !!!!
Temp gauge now shows the real temperature
Also did some fiddling with the Flow meter .
I found out that the screw outside the flow meter is just for Co adjustments at idle revs.
I opened the top of the flow meter and the flap adjustor was on 512.
Moving the teeth towards the right stiffens up the air flap - thus you get LESS air coming into the throttles with gas petal pressed.
Moving the teeth towards the left loosens up the air flap allowing more air to go through the throtles and therefore more fuel as well ?.
Anyway I did a test. Moved the selector 4 teeth to stiffen up the air flap. Car was lazy reving up in the road.
Then moved the selector from original starting point, 8 teeth to loosen the air flap. Car had a bit of black smoke coming from the exhaust and was a bit jurky reving up at idle ( too much of a good thing I guess )
Finally moved it 5 teeth back from that point ( so actualy 3 teeth from original point ). Car behaved more lively, no jurkyness at all. Could feel the difference by the way the car pulled me on the seat
Is this the way it works ? Have I discovered something new ???
....by the way.... another 400 khm to go to finish running in the engine !
