Back from my honeymoon
I went to see if my 33 's remap has been completed. Still not done, but at least I got some hope now !
This guy found that the ignition timing was 4 degrees off to start with !
I'm actually very surprised nobody else spoted that from the previous mapping proffesionals
Secondly, he said that my air mapping was a mess... whatever that means... but most importantly, the engine had too many degrees advance timing on low to mid revs, and not enough advanced timing degrees on high revs !!!
As he explained it to me, this is why the car knocked under load on low revs, but also it killed the high revs of the car, cutting off lots of power !
Heads up to anyone who is mapping a 33 ! Advanced degrees in high revs should be around 32 degrees ! Not 23 like mine was
Come to think of it, if this guy actually corrects the mapping, not only I'll get rid of the low rev high temp knocking under load, which is why I took it for a remap, but I will also gain a few horses on the high revs !
Dont what to get my hopes up, but at least this guy seems to know what he's doing
