Thanks Greek, I try
It needs some work still. I need to clean it up some more and polish some parts.
I want to take the alternator apart and chrome it , as well as some other parts.
I had a very interresting conversation with Gus yesterday over the phone , aka Alfatuner.
Gus saw my dyno results , and talked with Addie at AHM where I got my pistons and ECU from.
He told me that with those dyno results, the car didnt gain as much bhp as it should. They must have done something wrong with the tuning when they did it here in Cyprus.
With the parts on my engine, Gus suggested that with propper balancing and a good map, the car should have produced around 190 bhp
.... which sounds fine to me, but the guys here in Cyprus dont have the knowledge or experience with alfa's to do that.
Plus.... I dont trust them to let them experiment with my car !
So, now I have two plans :
1. Take my car to UK , stay for a week or 10 days, do my hollidays, go to an Alfa meet, take the car to AHM for a propper tuning
2. Pay Addies and Gus's tickets and hotel for a weekend, book the dyno for half a day, pay them to do the map for me, take them out for lunch and drinks, and finally get the desired outcome from my engine.
Both options will cost a lot of money, not that Addie and Gus want a lot of money to do this, but the dyno guy in Cyprus wants 170 Euro per hour to let us do this, so its almost 700 Euro for half a day just for the dyno
Either way, I need to start saving money again, and make sure I keep the wife happy
