Just a quick update, I'm going on holiday so there will be a slight halt in work. I have the shock absorbers back from being rebuild at 'GAZ'. They are very reasonable with their costs and a lot of help. In terms of suspension brakes etc everything is ready to bolt back on the car. I finished stripping all the underseal from the car yesterday. Thats a seriously messy job, glad its done. The car is very solid, no real rust to worry about. I'll try and get some pictures. We are now going to seam weld the shell and improve the roll cage in a couple of areas to pick up all the suspension points. It should make the chassis a bit stiffer. Need to put noew oil seals in the gearbox, big end bearings on the engine. Refit everything to the car and build a new loom and then maybe the end will be in sight!!! Not sure what I'm going to do about getting it sprayed, don't want it to cost too much. James.
