Help to bush or not to bush

my question is
i see alot of sud sprint an 33 drivers putting on the upgraded bush cos they are stiffer
now i roll with a 22mm front sway bar lower 1.5 inches to a stiffer spring an yellow koni's all the way around
am i going to find it to stiff with the upgraded bush or should i stick with the standard ones
some ppl say go with the upgrade some ppl say go with out an i even hear some say put some upgrades here an put the standard ones in here
any thoughts would be very helpful

Polybushes are expensive, think there is a kit on ebay at the moment for the front of a 33 and it over £ answer would be to replace the rubber bushes as they diteriorate. They will give you an improvement in handling but a harder ride, but they will last alot longer.

It depends what you want from the car. I use powerflex and superflex for all my bushes, but its a race car. The handling is superb, but its combined with different dampers and springs. It would be far too stiff for the road but thats more down to the springs. I would recommend them if you want a bit more feeling from the handling. I'm about to replace all mine as part of a complete rebuild.

Re: to bush or not to bush

The most significant upgrade I did to my Sprint was to fit uprated suspension top mounts - these gave great turn in but were a bit harsher on the road. I had a setup of Koni's and stiffer springs with 195/50 tyres, bushes were all replaced with standard bushes.

I run some polybushes on my 156 but only on the anti roll bars and one set in the rear suspension where there is the most flexibility in it - do feel a bit harsher on the road
