Alfa electricity

Hi. Its getting cold in Sweden so I turned on the electric seat heater last week.
A fuse went off so I turned the heating off and put a new in, and started the car to drive.
Then I found there was no lights turned on automatically at start anymore. The lights work alwright when turned on manually. Anybody have an idea what more components involved than the fuse?

Greatful for any help, I have aske Alfa mecanics but thet shake their heads and say "alfa electrics".

Alfa Electrics

The Italians have never really got the hang of electricity, in my experience.

Unfortunately as we don't have the automatic lighting requirement over here, I've no idea what is involved in the circuitry - it could be the high load for the seat heating has burnt out a partial circuit in the fusebox....hope not....

Otherwise, no idea, I'm afraid.

Re: Alfa electricity

How do you get an electric seat heater in a 33?
The other night while I was short of time to get to a movie, my 33's dashboard lighting completely died. I had to find the loose connection under a streetlight on the roadside.
And now the ingnition system, which had been playing up, has completely died and the car won't run.
Lucky I have two 33s!
