Alfa 33 racer, ARCA class D spec
The 33 is a series 3, mutlipoint cage (£1000), new Sabelt harnesses, fia sparco seat, plumbed in extinguisher, compomotive MO's * 8, Brunswick suspension (konis), Brunswick 8V engine and gearbox, AHM springs, 6 good toyos. Engine is breathing heavy and down on compression on two pots, may be just wear that rings would solve, it ran on silverstone GP fine like this in Sep. I do have another top notch Brunswick 1700 8v engine that could go with it (see Sud below). A very good well set up car. Apprx 830KG
The Sud is ex class F AROC, now class D ARCA, Brunswick 1700 8v (approx 20 races), 1200 gearbox, Brunswick Koni's and springs, 33 running gear, 6*compomtive 5 spokes (13inch). Safety Devices 6 point bolt in cage, seat tatty and no extinguisher. The sud is a 1979 series 2 ti with a boot (not a hatch). It is far better than its 'matt' white paint makes it appear. approx 135 bhp and approx 810 kg
I also have a fully rebuilt (6 races) ex class F spec 1500 engine that could go in the sud for classic regs, comes with 40mm webers (approx 120bhp on standard cams and standard manifold)
Spare panels for the Sud 5*wings, 4 * doors, 2 *bonnets, 2 * boots, complete front section, slam panel, pylons and valance), loads of rear lights and some s3 headlights
I also have:
1700 8V for rebuild
1500 Brunswick heads to old class F race spec, perfect condition, will give 15bhp and bags more torque
1500 heads with 40mm valves (not sure by who but came on an engine in the sud originally)
1500 block with +4 pistons done about 20 races, pistons good for rebuild seeing as new ones are now very expensive
Brand new 1500 +4 pistons and rings still boxed
Bradley Allen (??) non standard crank for a 1500, rev to 7k easily
Pair of 40 webers
Pair of 36 Webers with 32mm chokes
Some 33 spares, bumpers, wing, lights, tailgate, sills, 4 struts, crossmember, axle, drive shafts
Numerous gasket sets for 1700 and 1500 engines
Series 2 sud 1500 ti gearbox (next best thing to a 1200 ti for ratios)
If both the above do have to go, then I also have a 4 year old Brian James Minno trailer, 4 wheel, uprated jockey, longer alloy ramps, winch and spare wheel. the 33 fits on it (just) but is safe weight wise and tows perfect at 70mph, it also fits in a single garage with the car on top.
Just to end this tearful advert, I also have a 1989 alfa 75 3 litre Veloce. hasn't seen daylight for 4 years hence needs work, it was running fine when stored, ropey gearbox bushes and prop bushes, blowing some smoke but nothing major. Has 17inch Momo sports, Bilstiens and Momo wooden wheel and gearknob. it has the proper Veloce kit, including the front wing 'bulges'. ususal rusty bits around the rear lights I also have a spare full Veloce body kit for the same (both bumpers, sills and wings) and (dont ask why!) 6 rear lights, pair of door mirrors, red boot strip and 5 original 15 inch revolutions
Sensible prices if it all does need to go, gauging interest currently hence PM me if genuinely interested in any of the above, especially as a package.....
