I haven't played with the Sud brakes, but have with 33s.
The Series 1 33 had the fronts on one circuit and the rears on the other. When the S2 33s came out they split the braking diagonally, (i.e. front right and rear left on one circuit, front left and rear right on the other. including a dual circuit bias valve !)
In both cases each circuit is taking up the same amount of fluid when the pedal is pressed. It would seem logical to me that putting the rears and a front caliper on the same circuit iwould make the front caliper in that circuit weak in comparison with the other.
Is that the case ? If so, it might be worth a bit of re-plumbing....
