Yesterday i received my new fuel pipe from tap to the tank . it is brand new , not a used one and in a good price and it will replace my 26 year old one which shows signs of leak.
On other news, 2 days ago , John and I had coffee at his place. We did some fine tuning on the car and changed sparks plug wires with original which John had stored for some years never used. Mine were some blue Beru which were ok but had lost their performance over the years . Indeed , car sounded much smoother after installing them.
Of course , i learn another lesson from guru John and the reason why i am consuming so much oil.
After installing K/N Type filters , i didnt use the factory setup about oil fumes pipes but instead i let them free. Big mistakes. The big pipe I though it was also for extracting oil fume but John , after moking me a little about my ignorance, told me that this is the return path to the engine.
This means that any oil fume from 4 small pipes should return back to the engine ( and air filter on original setup) otherwise it will go on the atmosphere.
So in my case , having all of them unrelated between them , any oil heated and being in fumes was leaving block causing excessive consumption of oil while i though it was caused from valve seals. Other symptoms are loss of power and low engine temp.
So now i will have to connect them back , to gain back my losses.
