Here is a picture of the bottom of the tank showing the two strengthening internal columns - the left hand one has a crack right in the middle of the tank where the two halves are joined!

Replacement now installed and a test run will take place soon....

Hi mate

Yeh will be on the road this year after 2 years off, new engine (3rd) floor dropped by 4 inch's, new fuel system, brembo brakes, wheels, paint and two stage nitrous kit, yes been busy, see the 6c is still going , will be at the first RWYB at North Weald on May 8th.

Do you or any of the guys on here have a Sud TI rear spoiler?

Are you on Facebook, if so send me a PM with your details.

Hi 302
Sorry that I won't be at your RWYB, hope it goes well after all your work. I'm not on FB, but you could try on the Classic Alfa Forum for your rear spoiler, there is a strong Sud section there.

Reluctantly I am going to be selling my version of the 6C.
It has an MoT and runs well but could do with a cosmetic refurb. It has been featured in the AROC magazine and Retro Car magazine as well as build threads on Alfa websites. It is probably one of the best known Sprints around today.
I will be losing my storage space and have too many other cars......
So what sort of price should I pitch it at and where would be the best place to sell? Advert in Pistonheads? Anglia Auction, Autotrader? E Bay?

Hi Mark
I have put the first proper advert on the CAF website as I would prefer to sell to a fellow enthusiast if possible.
But it will go onto Pistonheads and Auto trader soon, then E Bay. It is a great road car but could also be a really entertaining and unique track day car.

Sprint 6C now sold to a London based "Alfisti". Cash paid and car taken away full of spare parts. So ends my second bout of Alfa ownership. It has been a demented few days moving out of my "Big workshop" and getting all my stuff back to our house.
Some farewell pics to follow when I recover!

Thanks Green Berlina - and thanks to all the other posters on this thread who have offered much good advice and invaluable support for myself and of course, the "Alfa Romeo Sprint 6C".
