Philip, I cant remember if I asked you before... are you using your original ignition switch or the one out of the 164 ?
If injectors dont spray, it could be because of the immobilizer unit

I'm not using any switch yet - just touching wires to live terminals. my next job is to take out an injector to see what it is doing......

THE 6C LIVES !
At 12 22pm it finally fired up, runs and revs - very lumpy at times but there is the beginings of a great sound......
I'M HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!
and yes it was a fuel problem - I didn't realise that there is a non return valve in the fuel circuit so my pipe from the pump was on the return line...

Well done mate Id be hopping around the garage doing cartwheels and grinnng from ear to ear all weekend if that was my car startng from months of hard work It reminds me of august when id finished puyting a 3.0l in my gtv6.
Id got it all wired up and it wouldnt start and in the end it was a crossed wire on the coil but when it finally did it was frickin ace!
