got a sud

hi all i have managed to get a sud ,i have not been to see it yet but am picking it up sunday .
its a series three 1.3 3 door sc but from the sound of it its quite solid and its beige and also guess what its free also
im not sure who else saw it but it was advertised on ebay and i managed to get it ,it was a bit of luck as i had the day off and was just looking at ebay and came across it and emailed him but i thought someone would beat me to it but its mine yipee.
plans are to restore her and a respray,will put pics on here as soon as i get it .
p.s looking forward to getting it

Well done Pat that's great news! I have had 2 beige Suds in the past (W reg 1.5SC & X reg 1.3SC) and I still really love that colour on the Sud - well done!

It's not beige, it is Avorio. Ivory!

if you mix the ivorio paint at about 10:1 with white you can blend it into the jambs and get away with it being an off white. thats what i did once

im going to pick it up on sunday also just got a brand new genuine alfa sud bonnet from my brothers work place (sidlow alfa ) gatwick for the bargain price of £30 .
plans for the car are to put a 1.7 engine into it and get the twin headlights from a ti and a respray but not sure what colour yet.
here is a pic of the car from advert.

its been sitiing in the garage for eight years but will need inner wings ,two rear arches(comes with rear arch panels) just cannot wait to get it .

totally ****ed off
could not go myself today and get sud so paid someone to get it for me but because i did not go myself he backed out of deal as he was not sure i would scrap it which i told him i would restore it but still he said no what a waste of money and my time so am a bit annoyed right now
i will get a sud if it kills me.

hes gone away for a week to sweden but he had ten other people that wanted it so he will call one of those i think plus i am going to wait for a ti sud.
was a bit angry yesterday but have calmed down now ,one will come up and am in the process of packing as moving this weekend so already stressed about that without him adding to it but thats life
