Advice Needed - Window Trim

I'm looking to replace the chrome trim along the base of the side windows on my race car, the Chrome fitted at present is not quite conforming to the lip it's supposed to fix too and in my view for the track use would be better as a black rubber type trim of sorts, I've been looking at THIS SITE with view to placing an order for 6 mtrs of channel in order to trim to fit, I need fellow Sprint & Sud owners thoughts as to which channel will best do the job, ruling out the Chrome effect in preference for black.

Thoughts please.

I think it is a good idea Rodger. However I don't know which section will be best.
I have had a lot of trouble with the lower trim on the rear window on the 6C, as I initially reworked the rotten wing top to incorporate a flush fitting glass window with a lower rubber strip. Then I rebuilt the top wing section with a lip to use the original strip but it still does not fit quite right, as I have sealed the window opening and use Lexan for the window.

Well I'm going to have to take a punt on what looks like it will do the job

I've lexan windows too mate, we shall see how it turns out, pics to follow at some point soon.

Ok so I've gone for THIS Profile... having measured and taken a closer look I may well have to adapt a little, however if my calcs are right errrrrrrrrrrrrm we shall see I know it's a door trim before the smart comments come in

Will do mate... hopefully be doing a little walk around the car on video later in the week, the subtle changes are really going to change the look and hopefully be functional too.

I chose that section as it had the 'ears' which look as though the top one may sit flush to the lexan, dimensions look good too.
