Hi everyone
has everyone seen this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alfa-Romeo...item1e6de06106 up for grabs?
i mention it because i know a little about the car, as it used to be near me in Newark, and i actually went in the car for a test drive before buying my 33 16v a couple of years back,
i do know that there was a massive history with it, starting with the original, Sportiva option advert etc, and looking at the mileage in the ebay ad, it has done next to nothing since i saw it, so odds on it shouldn't be a big fix, because it did go very well indeed for a 1.5.
when in newark, it was owned by a lovely lad who had the chip shop near northgate train station, and he was selling it back then to try and fund a 164 turbo purchase back home i seem to recall.
the rust doesn't seem to have changed much, certainly not for the better i know, but i don't think it is passed saving by any stretch,
clearly, the number plate is very very interesting, and if times were different, i'd be very keen to save the car myself,
the plates no use to me anyway because i like my boxer stuff pre-cat, so a K reg would be no good in my case.
anyone else into it?
