Well done you guys - I hope you all had a good time in spite of the weather.

I was planning to go too, but I couldn't risk taking the Green Machine as the ignition is too exposed to the elements. I hit similar torrential downpours last week on the way back from Brooklands which left me stranded at the roadside for a while

Fortunately I was able to re-start the engine after 10 minutes, but you get the picture.

I stayed home and watched the BTCC coverage from Thruxton on the telly instead

Fingers crossed for better weather next weekend, as I'm going to Auto Italia no matter what!

By the time I got there with the Minari, there was only 1 33 left - a white S2 which looked in excellent order. There was a couple having a picnic under a canopy with a full olde worlde wicker hamper but they looked pretty chilly. We headed for the warm resturant and met up with the rest of the Devon and Somerset sections.
Not a great day but it seemed an excellent turnout regardless!

The weather was lorvelly

Me and the missus arrived just as it started hailing... only Alex was present at that point... took shelter in the wildlife center, had some chips and a T. Went to look at the lemurs and the giraffes, and by the time we headed back to the car, Alan was the only other 33 left!!

Shame bout the weather, but it seems to me that every time the government announce a hosepipe ban it rains for a whole month

Was intending to go , but given the weather forecast and the 200 mile round trip we decided not to go in the end.
