Stone hole in headlight

I have done 12 miles since the MOT and I have just had a stone hit one of the outer headlamps and smash the glass to bits.

The reflector was good on it too!

It couldn't have been an inner one could it !!

crud - bad news. sorry to hear that.

My main headlight was smashed to bits recently while parked and some idiot drove straight into it - bumpers were off as I was in the process of some engine rebuilding.
Could only get hold of a second hand one for the series 2. (300 USD! with new indicator light)

Maybe Peter has a new one for you.

Dave, if you have an old outer one with a bad reflector cut the glass out and bond it into your smashed one!!

i've got a few glasses if you need one dave

no complete lamps though, not good enough to put on your car anyway
