Re: Q4 vs Permanet

Its the same thing as far the cars... In reality , Q4 would be if they had Quaife differential (or similar) front and back axle....

Re: Q4 vs Permanet

I believe the Q4 was a later version of the P4 and had a cat. It also had the later style Recaro seats (fake leather/ alcantara ones) although these were an option I understand, otherwise they were fitted with seats like those fitted to the Imola. The Q4 also had the later style wheels as fitted to late 16v cars, ie 14" Speedlines in a split rim style. Finally the car was badged as a Q4 rather than Permanent 4 (I have a brand new badge for a Q4 somewhere in my parts collection). I believe that other than having a cat, the Q4 is mechanically identical to the P4.

Hope that helps

Rich

Re: Q4 vs Permanet

if you are speaking about AR33 4x4 and P4. so they are the same, just P4 has electromagneting coupling for disengaging 4x4 system (needed for abs) and viscous coupling which is better choise for driving on hard surfaces.

But if you are talking about Q4 system which is used on AR155, AR164. So it's pretty diferent things.
