Good Luck.......... It's always stressy.

The Mechanic I use picks mine up and brings it back........... Problem is, he's one of those blokes who only ever has one facial expression......... A sort of pained / constipation type look .... So I never know what to expect when he comes back with my cars........

they doing it at your work mark? not that you should be looking for any favours in getting it passed, just you don't want anyone seeing an old alfa turn up and go ballistic prodding around and scraping away at the underseal

Yeah I'm having it done at work. Hope they go easy on her, I've watched them do MOT's before with their little hammers in their hands

Good luck - mines 18 years old and passed first time so its definitely possible!

She's passed!!

Nothing major, drivers front tyre almost down to 1.6mm, emissions a little high, requires a bit of welding on the spare wheel well where the towing eye is and a little bit of play in the rear wheel bearings.

I thought that the emissions would be a bit high as it runs a bit rich

Here the rust on the spare wheel well. He felt it with his finger and his finger almost went through!
