33 Cloverleaf off to the scrap yard
Hi,
The time has come to send one of our 33's (the cloverleaf) to the scrap yard, we just don't have room for it any more! (what with the sud, 2x 33's, the 156 and 2x old 105's a 75 and a few non alfa's !!)
I'm keeping a 33 turismo so I've taken a few bits off it as well as the engine and gearbox. but apart from that is pretty much complete so if anybody needs any bits for a 33 I can probably help you out.

What's the front passenger seat condition like? I have a LHD 33 that could do with a new drivers seat!

Hi, The interior is really good but the other half wants me to swap it over into the turismo.
If she doesn't get her own way I'll let you know!!

Hi, I'm going to be keeping the engine and box as I've got another 33 and a sud, might be good to have a spare. You never know!!

I had a white one a few years ago - G480JET if you've ever seen it about in the Berks area!

Re: 33 Cloverleaf off to the scrap yard
Well since I've put it on here I've been debating whether I should keep it. I do like it a lot, but I've been looking at the big holes in her, there's almost no floor in the boot and a few big holes in other places.
But I was talking to the mechanic who has been doing some work on my 156 and he says that although shes full of holes there aren't any that would cause her to fail an MOT as they aren't close to anything structural.
He says that to do the welding won't be half a big a job as I thought, so she may be staying after all

I'm with johnboy!!
My dad spent 5 years welding his 33..
Just go outside and take a long look at her then you might change your mind!
What colour is it by the way?

Re: 33 Cloverleaf off to the scrap yard
I could do the welding, but it's how long it would take me to get round to it. So it's either talk my brother into doing it or I have a couple of friends who might patch her up for a crate of carlsberg.
She doesn't look too bad when shes clean!!

Wow that is the spitting image of mine aswell!!!
I wish I could buy it from you because I would !
If you do decide to scrap it I would have a lot of parts from you such as the drivers door, bumpers, bonnet, grille stuff like that as long as there not faded?

I originally bought it to use some bits on my 33 turismo. The turismo needs a new exhaust and this has a complete new one. I was also going to swap the doors over but the handles are different. But it's growing on me, and it is in really good condition, apart from the holes. The interior is completely mint and the paints not faded.
The other half prefers the turismo which is a series 3. That really is in good condition, apart from looking pinky red in places! Looks like they'll both have to stay
