Car ID help

Ok, I am looking for a 1.7 twin carbed engine and box. I intend to buy a complete car, question is, what models and years of manufacture carried this engine. prefferably the 8 valve.

Hi mate, as far as i know.....
series 2 33 came with 1.7 8v twin carb motors,
which is approx 86-89 only.
and i think some of the later sprints from the same years, roughly...

think thats about it, as earlier was only 1.5,
and later came with injection engines, and the sprint stopped production
