Hello gents, I wanted to share a few initial pics of my newest purchase. This car replaces the one in the avatar to the left. It's an '85 Series 1 and I picked her up for about 250 Euros. I bought it from the original owner who bought it from Zender after it was done being displayed in the Zender booth at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1985. She came with lots of parts and I'm going to start on her in the next few weeks. I hope to ship it back the the USA in 2009. Does anyone know how to decode the VIN number on these so I can find out if it was built in '84 and sold as an '85? The clock only shows 62,000 Km's and it is accurate.
