sprint project anyone?

i suppose everyone will have seen the white sprint now for sale on ebay
don't know why but something about this car just looks right to me, i wish i had more space then i could get it and start on it after the sud is done can't find anywhere to store it for the next 5 years though
doesn't look too bad though really, filthy obviously but white will show rust up like a sore thumb and there isn't anything obvious, what it's like underneath though may well be a different story
wheels suit it though to me

Re: sprint project anyone?

I saw it and thought exactly the same, except I thought the wheels were awful!

I guess it wouldn't do for us all to be the same!

no, wheels are always a personal taste thing, which surprises me that i liked them as i usually stay with the originals must have been a bit late last night looking at it

Re: sprint project anyone?

most service/engine parts are still easily available, you just struggle with some trim parts and things like headlights. worst of all is the rust if you go look at it then pay particular attention to jacking points/fllors/wing mounting rails/rear quarters under windows/windscreen surround plus all the usual areas
mechanically the engine should be fine, gearbox may well have weak synchro's, brakes should be outboard on this year same as the 33 so thats fine. brilliant cars though
