Alfasud meet MITCAR
Just noticed in this months AROC magazine that the venue for this years MITCAR (Midlands Italian Car Day) will be at Holdenby House, just North East of Northampton at Holdenby funnily enough . Nothing special you might say but it is reported to be 'the Alfasud Register's primary gathering for the year'. Anyone else planning on making it there It's on Sunday August 10th and the address is Holdenby House, Northants, NN6 8DJ. Entry is £5 per car plus a discount available to the gardens & Falconry centre @ £2 per person. More details here AROC Central & East Midlands Section
Many going? Might aim to get my @sud ready (ish ) for it as it will also be my 40th birthady on the very day , unless my Mrs has actually listened to my hints and I am in Italy for my birthday , no, don't be silly

Re: Alfasud meet MITCAR
I can't make it and would love to be there.
Will be at Lake Garda from the 9th - 16th August.
Driving down to Italy. (Not in the Sud though).

Re: Alfasud meet MITCAR
Sorry Mark - it won't be the 6C this year! rather my first Sprint from e-bay which is a standard 1.7 with 146 seats installed. But will I be outside with the riff-raff???

Sorry to go off topic - but do 146 seats fit straight into a Sud/Sprint??
thanks

Re: Alfasud meet MITCAR
I may well make that. Will only just be back from 3 weeks in Brazil (sorry ) but as long as the car's ready it shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Alfasud meet MITCAR
It's not, it's got a flat battery! Yeah it's running ok still.
Made a mistake with my dates, that is THE day we get back from Brazil so I reckon I have a less than tiny chance of making MITCAR.
Will make sure I get to at least one event this year though.

Re: Alfasud meet MITCAR
I enjoyed MITCAR so much last year that I will definately go again. Need more classic Alfas though, only 2 Montreals and a smattering of spiders and Giulias could only hold my attention for a couple of hours, but there was a good selection of Suds there too, as Bryan Alexander (AROC Alfasud Register) is on the organisation team for MITCAR.
Nice weather and a great venue helped make MITCAR '07 the best show I attended last year...
