Re: Alfasud 1186cc Ti, the restoration starts

The Ti isn't going to be at Spring Alfa day on Sunday, time and crucial exhaust and brake parts have beaten me. But the engine/box and suspension are in, so to are the pedals servo and heater and steering rack, give me another month and it'll be done, i may have my 33 ti there though, which is for sale now, In gleaming red, 50,000 miles, history, new front discs and pads, belts, plugs, tyres, rear of sills properly welded. With a superb interior and original Blaupunkt, a bargain at £500, six months MOT too.

Re: Alfasud 1186cc Ti, the restoration starts

I thought it was about time i did some more work on the Ti. The rear inner panel around the back of the chassis legs and exhaust aperture is a bit frilly, so i will cut off the rear lower panel, rebuild what's behind and then graft the panel back on. First i must remove the shiny paint and see what's behind, gulp!!
Some pics of the passenger side floor repair, now completed.
