Problems with Bilsteins on 166?

Hello folks!

I'm giving my car a Christmas present, some Bilstein B6's, Eibach springs and some Merc-bushing/bearings.

Now to my problem. How to get the "spring disk" on to the rear damper? On the front ones they slide on easily, but on the rear they are a bit to small. It is possible to grind some material of the discs, but that doesn't feel right, or?

The picture doesn't show the Bilstein dampers, but you get the point anyway...
