Re: Dodgy speedo 164
My twinnie exhibits a similar oddity on cold mornings, I noticed early this spring that the rev counter was sometimes showing a count around double
what the RPMs should be when starting the day off in the wee hours (i.e. before 11:30...
). After the car interior warms up, though, the indicated RPMs suddenly drop back to normal.
I put it down to dampness, as the instrument binnacle warms up, it drives off any condensation, and "curing" a possible short... This is only a guess, but that's what it seems like to me. It never happens in the later part of the day, only early morning.
The 24V (so far) hasn't done anything out of the ordinary.
Let us know what you find out!
If you can play a guitar and harmonica at the same time, like Bob Dylan or Neil Young, you're a genius. But make that extra bit of effort and strap some cymbals to your knees, suddenly people want to get the hell away from you.
