Hmmm 164 Super ('96) Check System Problems

Good Morning,

I'm having trouble on my 164 Check System. Firstly I noticed that the only Warning Lights that stay lit if a problem occurs were only the Parking Brake & The Hydraulic Level. I started to check the circuit when I realized that the Max Coolant Temp Sender Wire was giving a +12V rather than a negative. I checked the Water Level, Oil Level and none wanted to light up.

I've read that the Parking Brake & Hydraulic circuits are the only ones that pass straight to the warning lamp rather that going through the logic inside the Dash Control Unit (Unlike the 1990 models the control unit is incorporated in the Dash).

Did anyone experience a similar problem ? Anyway I can make them work? I'm tired of trying & trying for nothing & I don't know where I can take it for a thorough check.

Your help is much appreciated.
