Bodykit a waste of money?
I've been running my poverty spec TS for almost 2 years now. In that time I've put roughly 4k euro extra into it (not including 4.5k for crash damage). At this stage at 64k miles I'd say it's worth 7k euro, needs a good buffing, new/cleaned alloys, new variator and some bushings replaced at the front driver. She is MOT'd for another 2 years and I would intend on keeping her until at least she's MOT'd again or until I see the new 169.
So here's the question. At such a low value and the cost of kits/alloys etc should bother modifying her at all or should I save up a bit and buy a classic car instead. I have the garage and room etc, but have been turned down (unsuspectingly) for a loan (and lost a chance of owning Delta EVO as a result) so wondering if I'm pi$$ing in the wind with bodykits when a classic would survive time as a better investment. Sheesh this is more of a moan than a question, sorry.
