I have now looked at two cars, both at dealers.
The first one was a 2.5 V6 with no leather. It was a bit of a heap and looks like it has been sat on the lot for ages. Rusty Brakes, Green Mould on the rubbers and windows etc, it also stank inside so I didn’t spend too long with it.
Today I have been to look at a silver 3.0 Super sportronic. Walking up to the car it looked good in silver. Closer inspection revealed that both front and rear bumpers have been painted, and the finish on them was not too nice.
I checked the oil and inside the cap all appeared fine, so off for a drive. The car started ok and sounded sweet. It is an Auto and the gears changed smoothly, hardly noticed the changes to be fair! Although when we were stopped in traffic, and in gear, there did appear to be some vibration from the engine / transmission, is that normal?
Other faults / problems found were
Air Bag light on, he said he would rectify this.
A/C didn’t work, said he would send the car to an A/C specialist and get that fixed too.
The tyres were all rather low and I couldn’t see any evidence that the cam belt has been done, so it needs that doing as well.
