They seem to seize up with lack of use,only remedy is to remove
the door trim and see if the winder mechanism has become detached
from the motor,or if the mechanism simply needs greasing up or
freeing off,another scenario is motor burnt out or seized,I dont'
know whether these can be dismantled or not ,in which case it
means a new motor.
I can tell you I had my rear window smashed by vandals and had
it replaced by Autoglass and it took them several hours,I expect
any dismantling is going to be a fiddly time consuming job requiring
a lot of patience,I have removed a few electric window motors
notably on old Jags. and Mercs.,the electrics on these are not
very reliable and they all seem to suffer from this problem.
