Chilling Idle speed

Hey you guys, just a quick question. can anyone tell me if my 2.0ts has an idle speed control valve or something similar. Its just started cutting out when left to idle and i'd like to check all possibilities. Also can anyone enlighten me as to how much if at all they cost. ta guys, much appreciated.

Re: Idle speed

yup - it does indeed....idle actuator is what controls it and they cost about 80-100 squid IIRC. It's worth cleaning the throttle body before you go changing the idle actuator though...especially if it's cutting out as you approach junctions etc....
