yes I got £3700 trade in,JCS sold it on to a trader in Bristol,I have
no idea what they charged him.
It seems to have sold,usually they reappear on Ebay,I guess it is
fair to assume that they price their vehicles on the high side so
they can allow a good trade in and move more cars on,so yes I
presume they work on a healthy profit margin.
However its' just been back in this week for a couple of jobs under
warranty,no problem,when I picked up the car they had fitted new
tyres,new lower front wishbones,mot'd it for a year ,taxed it and
given me a 12mth. warranty.
I have to say very nice people to deal with ,enthusiastic and knowledgable about the marque.
Of course I could have done better privately,but I wanted to trade in
the 2.5 which has cost me a fair bit of money,which I was able
to offset from the sale of my t/spark.
In reality you could say they allowed me £2,700 for my car,and
strangely enough it made £2,750 on Ebay!
