166 more shocks
I've looked through earlier posts and replies on this subject but I'm still a little unclear. Work recently done on the suspension has improved matters significantly.
New front springs ( standard) raised the front to where I presume it should have been. Springs had sagged 30 mm.!
Rear stub axles also replaced. Car no longer bottoms out on undulating roads and the rear seems more attchd to the front! Still needs tightening up though so the advice is Bilsteins.
So my question..
Which Bilsteins should I go for? I've heard B6s mentioned. I don't want an overly sporty ride, rural roads here too bad. Just more dampening and overall control. On standard 16" wheels.
Also, I've seen mentioned some Bilsteins won't fit on sports suspension.
How can I tell which suspension set up my car was originally fitted with? chassis no.?
Thanks for any advice in advance.
