GPS problems on my 166

I'm a new member to the forum, hoping that someone can help me with a problem I've encountered on the greatest car ever, a 166 from -00 with the standard-mounted GPS: when entering the adress and asking the system to calculate, the GPS performs the calculation and then indicates the general direction, the distance and the expected arrival time. It doesn't however enter the final stage, i.e. the active guiding mode but keeps hanging in the "your destination is in the indicated direction" stage.

The fact that the system is able to tell me the distance and the arrival time to me seems to indicate that it is working, would anyone have encountered a similar issue or know what the problem is?

Thanks a lot and greetings from Zurich,

Well Happy Re: GPS problems on my 166

I think that you have the wrong navigation cd inserted in de nav unit.
The unit points in teh indicated direction and cant find the roads because you probably have a cd from germany or so in the unit.
If you have the coreect cd tehn check the info button how much sattelites it finds should be 3 or more .If the system cant find sattelites you have to replace the antenna .
