The Honda Type R is defintely way faster than the 166 except perhaps at very high speeds where wind resistance would play a big part.
The Type R is slower than any 3.2 v6 in a straight line, but the higher the speed the more the GTA has an advantage.
IMHO The Honda corners more accurately than any 156 variants (e.g. 147, GTA, GT) , but has very little torque so despite the Hondas better balanced track handling the GTA seems to punch from the corner exit much better in my experience at least across a wider rev range.
A 528 isn't slow, but Honda V-Tecs are notoriously difficult to get clean off the line starts in..
On a track a 528 wouldn't see which way the Honda went.
I'm not a doctor - but I really do recommend braking later
