Re: Water inside the car.
Hard luck - I think I may know the answer here.
When my car was parked facing up (also jacked up at front for some work) I got a flood mostly in the LH side and some in the RH side, but less so.
Having stripped out the seats and carpets I eventually found the water was coming through the front bulkhead behind the dash.
Water was collecting in the heater air intake trough and was passing through a bolt hole that was used to hold on the heater mounting panel (fascia frame in the attached picture). The heater is mounted on this panel behind the dashboard. This panel is held on by eight studs that pass through holes in the bulkhead.
Unfortunately, to fix this and dry everything out, I had to remove the complete dashboard and the heater/air conditioner. The nut on the leaking stud is hidden inside a chassis member (it's behind a plastic grommet). You'll see the studs and the grommet if you remove the air intake cover at the LH side.
I refitted the panel with silicone gasket stuff and rubber washers under the metal washers.
The leak probably wouldn't have happened if car was pointing downhill.
You may be lucky and get away with tightening up the nut!
