I thought the Super wasn't available 'till '94! In any case you have an early version so you definately can't do the fault code thing. Check the dash for an injector light. If you don't have it, no codes! You can retro fit a fault code system that the US cars had since quite early on. They have a button under the steering column which produces your fault code and I know some people have connected a button to the ECU with good results. I just take mine to my local, get it plugged in and end of story!
Actually, if you message me your chassis number I'll tell you what version you have and if you can do the code thingy.
