A popular mod on 156 Twin sparks appears to be the removal of the resonator box on the inake system to improve throttle response, replaced with the intake pipe from the V6.
Does removal of this box improve the V6 too. assuming the pipe can be replaced with something suitable?
I was under the impression that the function of the box was to improve the intake by "tuning" it at different rev ranges - a pulse effect.
Apparently its only function is to dampen some intake roar - who the heck wants that on a V6 especially if it also knocks the engine performance?
Any thoughts or comments?
