the shutlines on the wings are completely different;
you would basically need a complete front end.
bonnet, wings, lights, bumper, and also the engine undertray will be slightly different as to match the contours of the new front bumper.
additional work would also be getting your sills and lower section of your back bumper painted as on the s2 these are body colour.
there wont be any structural work involved, i cant put my mortage on this but having worked with both Fiat and Alfa, this is an expense that would be saved for dev. of a new model not a facelift.
but why you would want to go to the expense is beyond me. the s1 is by far the better. The aesthetic of the s1 is perfect for what it is supposed to be, an executive alfa. its a very elegant and expensive look and retains its 'cuore sportiva'. the s2 loses everything the 166 is suppposed to be apart from the sporting image which it does pull off, but for a car which is the flagship of the brand it is no longer set apart as something unique. Alfa are continually watering down their cars and the 166 is possibly the most drastic of that, it is so like a 156 now it would have been more polite just to discontinue it.
don't waste your money, you have a beautiful Alfa.
