Re: Overheat ??
Never actually done it but I can't imagine itys a days work, 2-3 hours tops.
temp swith out, fan off, drain system,, unbolt air con condensor to one side, couple of nuts, lift out, replace, reattcxh bits and refill. Its all easy access from top and bottom.
I was under mine last weekend trying to trace a weird power steering whine, only on left turn, even slight, but only when throttle down, not at idle or overrun. No termainl grating groining or loss of power steering effect. Don't think its wheel bearing as it happens at any speed and only when load on throttle. Levels OK, no leaks anywhere or fluid loss, end gaiters sound. Can't see why it would be only on left turn and not right since presumably its the pump whining or could it be some sort of valve in the system?
As usual it wasn't there BEFORE it wet into the garage for service! But at least they noticed the effect of whatever they have done!
