Probably MikeM will be able to answer this in his sleep
I was cleaning out the cabin Saturday & noticed there are 2 leads under the front passenger seat which are not connected to anything.
one lead has 3 wires & a 4 hole plug (1 unused), the other 2 leads into a 2 hole plug. When I turned the ignition on there was power to both leads (with nothing else selected).
Under the drivers seat is a similar arrangement, but plugged in to something.
Now, I have a manual seats, without seat warming, and the seatbelt warning is, afaik, a timer not a sensor.
This all leads me to the (potentially happy
) conclusion that I have the wiring available to fit electric seats.
Can anyone confirm this?
& does anyone think it's worth fitting leather to a car with out aircon?
(I do rather fancy some of the black leather seats on ebay at the mo
Also there is a module mounted to the back of the rear seat, top right hand corner viewed looking in the boot. Has a thick blue lead into it.
Can anyone suggest what this is?
My current guess is either summat to do with the aerial or the alarm.
