Last week I finally
got round to changing the engine oil on my 164.
While I was underneath, thought I'd check my gbox oil.
It's still tricky to get at from underneath
, tho not as bad as the engine oil filter.
(Has anyone fitted a remote filter to a 164?)
The gbox oil proved to be just a little below min, which is probably worse since the car was at a tilt, being on ramps.
Question is how do I fill the gbox?
Have seen a suggestion, from a 155, that it should be filled through the dipstick hole
Any alternatives gratefully received.
& what viscosity oil should I use? (not likely to traipse across Bristol to the dealer for the Alfa brand oil).
