Finally just picked up the new car today and dorve it from Edinburgh to London. What a fantastic drive
It is an '02, 3.0 Super lusso with (I think) absolutely every toy available ! It has 55k and I had its cam belts, a geometry check and its 60k service done before picking it up.
The car is unbelievably comfortable and I found it impossible to stay below any sort of speed limit. In fact 120mph felt more like the "normal" crusing speed and there was no real need to even slow down for the corners (don't know if the VDC had a much to do with this unbelievable stability). Anyway, as you can probably tell, I am extremely happy with my purchase and even after 5.5hrs drive I feel like I want to just hop back in and drive some more.
The one thing however that I was a bit concerned about was that under moderate to hard acceleration in the first few gears , the car seems to pull to the left. It does not really feel like torque steer as I know it from my earlier days of driving supped up FWD cars. Is this something that other owners have expericed or might there be something wrong with the car?
I also wanted to ask if anyone has a full list of the tools in the car. The pouch seems to have a couple of sheaths that are empty and the dealer has promised to find me any tools that are missing.
Thanks for any forthcoming insights.
