Scrapping the car was never an option, though I'd not had it long. Also there is nothing out there that i would want to replace it with that I could afford. This gives me a chance as the 3rd owner to keep on top of looking after the engine. Are engines more prone to failure after a rebuild, which incidentally did include all the belts, water pump and variator, or can they last quite a few thousand miles? Ital Autos have given me a 12k / 1 year warranty on the work. As for the wood wheel, I really do like the all black interior with the wood. 166's do now seem to be getting rarer and at one point there was always 50 or so on autotrader, now only about 30.
